Field Agent App Reviews

Easy money!

I downloaded this app about a month ago and just like that, Ive earned nearly $300! These are very simple tasks such as verifying prices, stock availability, and display presentation! Its also pretty fun too! As long as you follow the instructions carefully, you should not have any problems getting approved!

Meh

Its alright

Does exactly what it says it does!

I joined 2 weeks ago and have already been paid out for 3 jobs at locations I was going to anyway. Instructions are very clear, I havent had a job declined yet. Making $5 in less than 5 minutes? Yes, please!

Ive had the app for about a month now, and I still havent received a single job. Im gonna give it two stars because I guess its a good paying app when it works properly but unfortunately it doesnt.

Good idea

I have not done any jobs so far but I think this is a good idea.

Waste of time

Not sure what this people are thinking. Some of the pictures they require are hard to get. They want clear pictures of things that are at a distance. They keep denying jobs because they say the pictures are not clear. Maybe they need a better system for collecting this type of data.

Have made almost $500 this year!

I have been using Field Agent for over three years and there are more and more jobs near me all the time. The $500 I earned will go a long way to help with Christmas shopping this year!

Nice app

Made $40 in a couple months just while Ive been out shopping!

Endless irrelevant notifications

My biggest criticism of this app is the endless notifications. Sometimes I get duplicate notifications, which is extremely annoying. Another big gripe is the fact that they just push out notifications to everyone, they aren’t catered to you at all. For example I get ones telling me to fill out surveys to be a special agent when I already am one. I get ones saying there are tonnes of jobs when there aren’t any near me at all. It’s incredibly annoying and turning off the notifications means that I miss out on actual jobs when they’re actually available.

Notifications

Everything is great and Im making money but it would be amazing if the app could notify me when theres new jobs available

Great way to earn pocket change in Canada

I absolutely love this app. I live in a large city and when there is jobs to be done I have a few to choose from. There is not always jobs to be done every day or even every week but they do appear. I have been an agent for a little under a year and I have cashed out for $200

Works as intended!

Works in Canada and yes you actually get $$ :)

BEWARE-These shops will cost you more than you make

Not worth your time. Its free work for the company

Awesome

Update: no jobs lately. Made $19.50 today with this app. Sure that probably just covered the gas needed but it was fun. More jobs will be nice.

Easy Money!

A very easy and fun way to make a little extra money.

Best app!

Ive been using Field Agent for over a year now and I have never had an issue. Besides jobs only being during my work hours. Now that Im a SAHM its a great way to add a little extra income. Keep up the good work!

Great idea, unfair pay

The app has a great premise but the payment is way too low. Theres really no incentives to complete task.

Not worth the time

I downloaded Field Agent because I thought it sounded like a cool idea. Ive been using it for a few months and it has been disappointing. The jobs dont pay well, sometimes it takes half an hour+ to complete jobs that are $4. They have a variety of jobs that they pay $10 for but warn that they are difficult. Unfortunately many of these jobs are virtually impossible, such as taking detailed pictures of every menu board behind the counter in McDonalds without the employees noticing. You are supposed to be incognito but you have to scroll through the app and multiple pictures to complete the job. If the pictures are too blurry you wont be paid. I think thats the biggest issue I have with this app: getting paid. It seems like a lot of these jobs are there to bring field agents into the stores as customers. If I take a picture of a menu board, I have to buy something so the profit I am making is reduced. Some "mystery shops" seem like they are just there to get you to buy product, like getting $6 for Little Caesars pizza that costs $6, plus anything extra you might need to make the dinner worthwhile for multiple people. The jobs offered are also limited at best. Overall this app was a waste of time for me. I spent more trying to complete difficult jobs than I got paid. I can see the advantage of taking pictures with a phone, but some of the tasks just arent feasible. I have done multiple jobs over the course of four months and check the app regularly, but I have only made $13 due to my pictures being "poor quality"and the lack of jobs in my area. If youve got lots of time to kill, arent afraid of embarrassing yourself in front of employees for creeping menus in plain sight, and arent too attached to the idea of making a significant profit then this app might be fun. Any expectations higher than that could leave you disappointed.

You will lose money using this app

Dont be fooled by the idea of mystery shopping. You will be sent out on jobs that cost you $15 and they will pay you $5 for doing it. Not worth it until they reevaluate their practices.

Awesome app

Have done a few jobs with this app so far and have yet to be rejected. Just pay attention to the product they ask for and make sure its a clear picture (nothing blurry) and you get paid! Loving it for when I am out and happen to be near a spot that is paying 6.50 to take 1-3 pictures of something in a store.
